# The $GYM Token

Its function is to connect user participation to the platform's most advanced layers, expanding interaction opportunities, access to exclusive benefits, and participation in decisions that shape the future of the ecosystem. More than just a digital asset, $GYM was conceived to transform consistency, engagement, and validated effort into an amplified form of participation within the Gympfy community.

#### A Strategic Layer of Value

While SWEAT Points are directly linked to the users' daily progression, $GYM occupies a strategic position within the ecosystem. It provides access to premium experiences, exclusive features, and advanced engagement mechanisms that go beyond the routine of workouts and achievements.

This separation helps preserve the platform's core experience while expanding the possibilities available to the most engaged members of the community.

#### How to Obtain $GYM

The token can be acquired in two main ways:

* Conversion of SWEAT Points earned through validated physical activities;
* Direct acquisition on compatible markets.

This approach creates a direct connection between active participation in the ecosystem and access to the platform's premium layer.

#### Token Utility

$GYM is designed to perform multiple functions within the ecosystem. Planned utilities include:

* Acquisition of exclusive items and customizations;
* Access to premium features;
* Participation in special events and experiences;
* Engagement in community governance mechanisms;
* Utilization in future features and ecosystem services.

As Gympfy evolves, new utilities may be incorporated into the token.

#### Community Governance

$GYM holders will be able to participate in decisions regarding the evolution of the ecosystem. The goal is to allow the community to actively contribute to topics such as:

* Inclusion of new exercises;
* Approval of strategic partners;
* New features;
* Special community initiatives;
* Ecosystem expansion.

> We believe that the most engaged users should have a voice in building the future of the platform.

#### Maximum Supply and Transparency

The $GYM token has a fixed maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. No new tokens will be created after its initial issuance.

This structure aims to offer predictability, transparency, and clarity for all ecosystem participants. The maximum quantity of tokens is known from the outset, allowing the community to track the evolution of the economy transparently over time.

#### Burn Mechanisms Based on Community Achievements

Gympfy incorporates supply reduction mechanisms directly connected to the collective performance of the community. Global goals may be established to encourage user participation in shared challenges and objectives.

When these milestones are reached, predefined amounts of tokens may be permanently removed from circulation. This approach transforms community growth into an active factor that strengthens the ecosystem.

* The more the community evolves, the greater its impact can be on the platform's economy.

#### An Economy Driven by People

In Gympfy, value is not born from technology alone. It is born from participation.

Each validated workout, each goal met, and each achievement shared contributes to strengthening a community built around health, evolution, and consistency. The $GYM token was created to represent this very connection between real effort, collective participation, and the sustainable growth of the ecosystem.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://gympfy.gitbook.io/gympfy-whitepaper/whitepaper-gympfy/the-usdgym-token.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
