# The Economic Architecture

Its structure was developed so that different layers of value fulfill specific functions, preventing a single asset from having to play every role on the platform.

#### Movement as the Source

Every economic activity within Gympfy begins with movement. Validated physical exercises generate SWEAT Points, which represent the ecosystem's primary unit of participation. In this way, economic progression remains directly connected to the real effort put in by users.

#### Participation as the Foundation

SWEAT Points fuel various platform features and allow users to actively participate in the experience built by the ecosystem. They act as the bridge between physical activity, progression, and access to different internal mechanisms.

#### Value as the Next Layer

In addition to the participation layer, Gympfy incorporates the $GYM token, which is responsible for expanding interaction possibilities within the platform. $GYM operates as a utility and governance asset, connecting users, services, exclusive benefits, and advanced participation mechanisms.

#### A Sustainable Structure

Each element of the economic architecture was developed to fulfill a specific function within the ecosystem. The goal is to create a structure where progress, participation, and value remain connected to the platform's core purpose:

> To incentivize healthy habits and strengthen the building of a sustainable, long-term community.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://gympfy.gitbook.io/gympfy-whitepaper/whitepaper-gympfy/the-economic-architecture.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
